Abstract

Background: In Mongolian Traditional medicine, it is fascinating to compare dampness-heat pathogens, which are one of the major causes of disease and conditions in the stomach in Traditional Mongolian Medicine with Helicobacter pylori (H.Pylori), and it is likely to open up a wide opportunity to treat gastritis caused by H.Pylori in Western Medicine. Aim: The main purpose of the study is to compare the form of dampness-heat pathogens in the stomach, its pathogenesis and symptoms with H. Pylori, and clarify the effectiveness of some recipes that have been widely used in the treatment of dampness-heat pathogens against H. Pylori. Materials and Methods: We clarificated dampness-heat pathogens with Helicobacter pylori (H.Pylori( by Using the method of summarizing, and listing and comparative analysis of literature the sources of Four medical tantras” (rGyudbZhi), the fundamental treatise of Traditional medicine,“Mannaglkhantav“, “Bidyer-Onbo” “ngo mtshar dga’ ston”, “Churu doshil”, and “Chuduininnor “ and compared with some electronic databases such as PubMed, Science Direct, and Google scholar. Results: From the traditional sources belonging to the first century, when the microscope was not developed, the dampness-heat pathogens in the stomach are shaped like a bundle, some are twisted, and some are like boiling worms. It is similar to the fact that H. pylori is defined by the microscope as spiral-shaped, 0.5 ×5 μm in length, and it is considered S U C shapes in morphology.H.pylori releases the urease enzyme which neutralizes stomach acid, creating suitable conditions for its existence. Dairy is the most frequently mentioned disease factor in traditional sources, and consuming large amounts of dairy products is a factor in H.pylori disease. Casein, and calcium from the milk precipitate and thicken gastric mucus, creating suitable conditions for H.pylori to grow. The common symptoms of H.Pylori infection, which are often duplicated in traditional sources, are similar to symptoms such as burning pain in the stomach and abdomen, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, bloating, and unexplained weight loss. According to traditional sources, the Ruda-6 recipe, which is the most often prescribed recipe in the treatment of diseases related to dampness-heat pathogens, is formed to treat stomach “Baoru” disease with indications including anorexia, dyspepsia, acid regurgitation, and gastrointestinal bleeding and pain, which correspond to the symptoms of GU in modern medicine. It contains the dehydrocostus lactone of Saussurea lappa L., genipin in Gardenia Jasminoides, and the ethanol extracts of Piper longum L, Elletaria cardamomum White, and Odontites rubra, which compose Ruda-6, can stop the growth of six clinical strains of H.pylori, and inhibit the activity of the urease enzyme of H. pylori and protecting gastric cells by preventing H.pylori from adhering to gastric cells, anti-oxidation, pain and inflammation relief, maintaining the balance of intestinal microflora, and many experimental studies have shown that it has multiple effects against H.pylori. Conclusions: 1. Comparing H.Pylori and dampness-heat pathogens, the habitat is the stomach, and H. Pylori has been found to be spiral-shaped, in traditional medicine, dampness-heat pathogens can be considered as a coiled, spiral shaped as well. 2. The condition of dampness-heat pathogens disease, which is indicated as a sweet food and drink, is similar to that of H.pylori, which grows and causes disease in an alkaline pH level, and the symptoms of H.Pylori and dampness-heat pathogens are similar. 3. The traditional medical sources included in the composition of Ruda-6 have a strong effect of inhibiting H.Pylori indicates that traditional drug treatment can be an alternative to effective treatment with fewer side effects.
