Abstract

Background: The rapid development of technology has completely changed the way we live, learn, and work, and it has forced us to abandon traditional methods as much as possible and use innovative methods to be more flexible and adapt quickly. Aim: The purpose of this research work was to search the e-learning status of student in Ulaanbaatar city and the factors affecting it. Materials and Methods: This searching were included randomly 990 students of Ulaanbaatar city. The study was evaluated with a 30-question questionnaire, a one-and two-sample T-test, and a multivariate test. Data were analyzed descriptively (calculation of percentage and frequency). Results: The majority of respondents, 82.5%, are satisfied with e-learning. The most of the students spend 5 or more hours on e-learning (40%), and 1-2 hours on preparation (31.2%). Spending a lot of time to participate in online learning was at a lowest level (52.9%), while increased self-learning ability (48.5%) was the highest positive effect. Conclusion: When comparing the respondents’ level of satisfaction with online learning, the time spent on training and preparation, and the difÏculties and positive effects of training by age group and gender, there was a statistically significant difference P<0.05. There is no statistically significant P>0.05 difference in decreasing team work ability from the problems they faced. These findings are valuable for the government, school administrators, teachers and parents to acknowledge the importance of well-equipped facilities and a stable internet connection for effective learning. However, it is recommended for future researchers to utilize a larger sample size and students from various backgrounds to better understand this issue.
