Abstract

Background: In 2010, WHO presentation highlighted that 100 million of 150 million people are under financial pressure due to out-of-pocket payments for health care, and it recommended health coverage, protecting the entire population from health-related financial risks.1 The policy document of the WHO Asia-Pacific Region ʺFinancing Strategy of Healthʺ states that it is difÏcult to implement public care and services when the amount of expenditure beared by individuals is more than 30 percent of health cost.2 There are about 360.000 families in Mongolia, of which 36.000 are infertile, and the prevalence of infertility is 7.5 percent. In today’s limited health care budget, the study of the use, availability, and price of in vitro fertility treatment drugs will provide an opportunity to optimally organize the supply of drugs from a marketing perspective. Materials and Methods: In this study, we included 400 clients in 2019-2021 from 4164 clients who underwent IVF treatment at X1, X2 hospitals with a 95% confidence level (1.96) and error probability (5%). A retrospective study was conducted, including 125 clients who were inseminated by extreme stimulation and 275 clients who underwent insemination by gentle stimulation. Results: The results of the study in the treatment of in vitro fertility Triptorelin (spray 0.1 mg/1 ml), Pergoveris (Follitropin alfa + Lutropin alfa), Gonal F (Follitropin alfa 150 mg, 225 mg), Clomid (clomiphene), Naclofen (diclofenac sodium 75 mg), L thyroxine (50 mg), cetrotide (Cetrorelix acetate 0.25 mg), Ovitrel (Choriogonadotropin alfa 6500 mg), Follifactor (Urofollitropin 300 mg) drugs were used by the most customers. In addition, the total drug cost of soft stimulation method of insemination treatment was ₮2.116.327.92 on average, and the total cost of drug treatment of high stimulation method was ₮4,230,117.6 on average. Conclusion: 1. Treatment of insemination by gentle stimulation Triptorelin (spray 0.1 mg/1 ml), Pergoveris (Follitropin alfa + Lutropin alfa), Gonal F (Follitropin alfa 150mg, 225mg), and Clomid (Clomiphene) are the most widely used drugs. is due to the fact that it is in the treatment guidelines. 2. A large number of drugs are used to treat convulsions, such as Cetrotide (Cetrorelix acetate 0.25 mg), Ovitrel (Choriogonadotropin alfa 6500 mg), and Follifactor (Urofollitropin 300 mg). is 3. The cost of soft stimulation of insemination treatment is 2.116.300.000, and the cost of extreme stimulation method is 4.230.000.000/0, which is 2-3 times higher than the average household income.
