Background: Since the first case of COVID-19 infection was reported in March 2020 in Mongolia, guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of the infection have been recommended, including the use of antiviral medicines like remdesivir, favipiravir and molnupiravir. Aim: The aim of current study was to determine the efÏcacy of some SARS-COV-2 antiviral drugs in treatment of patients with COVID-19 hospitalized in Songino-Khairkhan district hospital. Materials and Methods: From July 1 to October 31 2021 we collected data which was confirmed COVID-19 cases by PCR during the hospital treatment and used antiviral drugs, all data collected from history of patients Songino-Khairkhan district hospital. Results: Symptoms, vital signs, and radiographic changes were improved on the fifth day of hospital treatment in 148 cases of remdesivir group (100mg). SpO2 and respiratory rate of the favipiravir group (200mg) is statistically significant (p=0.000). The number of days hospitalization for arbidol (200mg)+remdesivir (100mg) was 12.31±4.1, while favipiravir (200mg)+remdesivir (100mg) was 9.91±2.4 (p<0.005). Conclusion: Some SARS-COV-2 antiviral drugs are efÏcient in patients with COVID-19 hospitalized in Songino-Khairkhan district hospital.
