Background: Two out of three cases of failed transplantation are related to the endometrium. PRP treatment is an innovative new treatment method that has the advantages of being simple, easy to use, and effective. Aim: To study the effectiveness of PRP treatment for endometrial thinning in women diagnosed with infertility Material and method: The survey was conducted from November 30, 2020 to February 30, 2022, based on the prospective study design of the Women’s Department of the CL Reproductive Hospital. The study included women who had been diagnosed with uterine mucosal thickness less than <6.9 mm, or who had previously had an abortion due to mucosal thinning or had 1-2 abortions, and had been diagnosed with endoscopic adhesions. PRP treatment is performed in accordance with international protocols. The thickness of the uterine mucosa is assessed by ultrasound on the 2nd and 10th days of treatment and on the 15th and 16th days after treatment. Results: The study included 27 women aged 26-45 years, with an average age of 37±4.8 and 68.9% with secondary infertility. On the third day of the menstrual cycle, the average uterine mucosal thickness was 4.96±1.0 mm. Treatment on the 15th to 16th day of menstrual cycle, the thickness of the uterine mucosa increased by an average of 7.8±1.0 mm, which is a statistically significant indicator. Conclusions: PRP treatment is a significant and effective treatment for endometrial thinning in infertile women.
