Keywords:
Mouse behaviour test, Lashley maze testAbstract
Background: In 2012, 10 percent of adults in the United States were addicted to drugs, and as of 2012, 23.1 million people were addicted to alcohol or other drugs and needed treatment. Aim: To study the behavioral changes that lead to the poisoning of test mice with gas. To test the memory and cognition of a test mouse by gas. Materials and Methods: C57BL / 6J mice were poisoned with gas. In the experiment, 12 mice were divided into two groups. Six mice were included in the control group and six in the poisoning group. The mice were poisoned with gas and tested in a Lashley maze. Results: In our study, the male mice of the C57BL/6J control group finished in 105 seconds, the female mice in 99 seconds, the male mice in the poisoning group in 328 seconds, and the female mice in 319 seconds, respectively. Conclusions: The cognitive ability of experimental mice exposed to gas was significantly reduced.
