Background: Mongolia ranks first in the world for brain stem stroke. The main reason for this reason is the hypertension, which requires quality and regular monitoring. People with hypertension need to monitor their lipid metabolism to reduce their risks of cardiovascular diseases, and liver function plays an important role in lipid metabolism. However, the prevalence of viral hepatitis and liver disease is high in Mongolia. Doses of medications that affect hypertension and lipid metabolism need to be adjusted. In addition to hemodynamic effects, liver disease also affects the choice and dosage of antihypertensive and lowering lipid drugs. International studies have focused on hypertension and advanced hepatic disease but there was lack of studies on hepatitis. For this reason, this issue has been the basis for this study. Aim: To study the index of lipid metabolism in combination with hypertension and viral hepatitis. Objective: 1. To compare and study the index of lipid metabolism of subjects with only hypertension and hypertension with liver diseases. 2. To compare and study the index of lipid metabolism in subjects with changes in liver function and normal people Materials and Methods: The data were collected at The National Third Central Hospital on November and December in 2021 and January and February in 2022. The patients with hypertension were 116, with hypertension and viral hepatitis were 143. All the data were downloaded from eHealth system that uploaded from individuals’ laboratory test result. The index of lipid metabolism has processed by IBM SPSS Statistics 21 and compared in two groups. Results: The mean age of hypertension in the group with hypertension and viral hepatitis was similar. For the people with hypertension, mean value of total cholesterol was 5.73±0.70 and HDL was 1.53±0.39. These values were higher than individuals with hypertension and viral hepatitis. The index of ALT that shows liver’s function in normal situation, the mean of cholesterol was 5.99±1.30 that it has increased. When the index of ALT is normal, the value of HDL was 1.49±0.42 that it has increased value as well. Conclusion: Comparing the people with only hypertension and the people with hypertension and viral hepatitis, the individuals with combination of hypertension and viral hepatitis have index of lower lipid metabolism. The people with changes in liver function have decreased amount of HDL. On the other hand, if the people have no changes in liver function the cholesterol level will be increased.
