A nationwide cross-sectional study was conducted to determine the public’s information source on coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines. A total of 1040 participants aged over 18 from cities and provinces were selected using simple random sampling. Data collection was based on an electronic survey. TV and social networks especially Facebook were the main information source of coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine among participants in this study. Information prepared in the form of short videos was the most accessible to the public. Of the total participants, 53.7% answered they would be vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, 39.7% were sceptical, and 6.6% were not willing to be vaccinated. Participants who receive information from ofÏcial sources and professional research journals were more likely to be vaccinated. According to a survey conducted in Mongolia in June and July 2020, 42.4% of citizens said that they need information about new vaccines in the future, while according to our survey, the need for information is even higher, or 72.3%. In duplicate, 65.4% of the population would like to know more about the quality of the vaccine and 62% about the safety, which may be related to COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
