Coal is cheaper than oil and natural gas, and its demand is growing year by year. The main product of coal combustion is ash. Some of the total ash consists of fly ash. Because of high consumption of coal and improved fuels in our country, the reuse of fly ash has the advantage of reducing its harmful effects. Due to the high consumption of coal and improved fuels in our country, the processing and reuse of fly ash has the advantage of reducing its harmful effects. Fly ash is processed directly and indirectly, and a significant portion is disposed into landfills. Fly ash can be enriched with silicon, iron, aluminum, and copper to synthesize nanoparticles. This review outlines the synthesis of nanostructured aluminosilicates from fly ash and it’s usage in medical field.
