Abstract

Objective: To study the effects of different method on the germination energy and germination percentage of Oxytropis myriophylla seeds. Method: Determine the thousand-seed weight and moisture content of the seeds of Oxytropis myriophylla, and observe the morphological characteristics of the seeds. Use sanding, hot water soaking, gibberellin to treat seeds, observe the germination energy and germination percentage at 150C and 250C temperature in artificial climate box. Results: Among the three methods, mechanical peeling has the greatest impact on seed germination. The sanding method and the 250C water soaking after sanding method have germination energy and germination percentage above 96.6% at the germination temperature of 250C, respectively. The seed germination at 150C is relatively lower. Conclusion: The best seed germination conditions are to germinate at 250C water soaking after sanding.
