Background: Testicular spermatogenisis normally preserve during obstructive azoosperma and microsurgically extracted sperm can be used for IVF. Material and Methods: 23 partners who were tested for sperm analysis, sexual hormones level in serum and diagnosed with obstructive azosperma by Johnson's score at Ojinmed IVF Clinic, selected in this study. Results: We observed that there was direct correlation between Johnson's score and level of liquid of epididymal ((r=0.48, p<0.05)) as well as between Johnson's score and total sperm number (r=0.44, p<0.05). FSH level was negative regulator of Johnson's score in stastically (r=-0.53, p<0.05). According to Johnson's score, high and medium group was 82.6% (n=19) and blastocyte level was same compared to control group. Low group showed significantly low fertilization with OR=10.3 compared to control group. Conclusion: 1. The testicular spermatogenesis of men with azoospermia in obstruction was assessed by Johnson's criteria, and in the majority of cases (82.6%) it was observed that spermatogenesis was normal 2. No significant differences were observed in fertility rate and blastocyst formation between Johnson's score medium and high group compared with the control group. This suggests that the same results as for men with normozoospermia may be obtained if male gametes are isolated from men with azoospermia obstruction.
