Abstract

Goal: Study the effect of Baragshin-5 on the pathogenesis of hepatitis in experimental animals. Material and methods: We conducted an experimental study using 60 healthy Wistar rats and were have used Baragshin-5 produced in a Traditional medicinal factory Institute of Traditional Medicine and Technology of in the study of Da-Hee Jeong's (2005) method of creating a pathological pattern of chronic hepatitis, during the 4th, 8th, and 12th weeks of the experiment, the effects of Baragshin-5 were evaluated. Results: In experimental rats, the incidence in patients with chronic hepatocellular carcinoma caused by carbon tetrachloride was 4.17 and 6.05 times higher in the 12th week after pathogenicity modeling in control animal period in animals blood serum ASAT and ALAT increased enzyme activity, respectively are reported. Blood serum levels of ASAT in animals treated with Baragshin-5 increased by 34.7% and 68.8% in the 8th and 12th weeks, ALAT enzyme activity was shown to be by 36.5%, 34.5%, and 61.3% inhibition in the 4th, 8th, and 12th weeks respectively compared with the control group. And also biliary stasis syndrome, which occurs during hepatitis was evaluated, Alkaline phosphatase levels were 1.59, 3, 4.1 times, and total bilirubin levels were 1.19, 1.7 and 2 times higher increased in the 4th, 8th, and 12th weeks respectively, and the control group’s rats in the healthy group. However Alkaline phosphatase levels in the animals treated with Baragshin-5 were significantly decreased by 20.7%, 49.6%, and 57.1%, and total bilirubin by 42.8% and 47.7% in the 4th, 8th, and 12th weeks respectively. Conclusion: Baragshin-5 tang has shown treatment and preventive effect on cell decomposition, biliary stasis changes in the hepatitis model in rats.
