The technological study of obtaining herbal medicine in syrup form

Abstract

We studied reviews regarding cough relieving herbs, selected some of appropriate herbs and introduced several designs of drugs in syrup form. Furthermore, we identified all appropriate excipients and its amount and evaluated quality of drug in syrup form. Moreover, we obtained appropriate ingredients of syrup drug for pediatric cough and processed manufacturing technology. In accordance with quality monitoring of Mongolian pharmacopeia, 6 designs of syrup drugs were evaluated and X1, X2, X4 and X5 designs of them were eligible. In further, there is need to evaluate quality and conduct studies of these designs accurately.
