The Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) has defined chronic bronchitis change hypersensitivity reactions and bronchial sensitivity due to internal or external causes. Our study aims to determine relationship between rs11003125 polymorphism of MBL2 gene and mannose binding lectin protein level in relative health and people with asthma. We conclude MBL2 gene rs11003125 polymorphism risk genotype GC-CC was 9.8% higher in the group of cases with bronchial asthma than in the relatively healthy control group, the risk allele C was 5.6% higher in the case-control group GG, GC, and CC genotypes. Significant differences were identified in the serum MHL protein levels of individuals with GG and GC genotypes at the 0.05 level of significance for identification and evaluation of differences.
