Background: By evaluating early signs of GBS patients, it has been observed that is important to pick the treatment options and predict the prognosis. In Mongolia, there is no study conducted to compare the severity of disease with antecedent events, clinical features and GBS patient age and sex. Methods: 75 GBS suspected patients were included in this retrospective study, undergoing ENG study in Reflex neurological clinic between 2016 and 2019. Disease severity was assessed by MRC scale. SPSS-23 was used for statistical analysis. Outcome: Of 75 patients, an average age was 45±15 (18-73) and males were 44% (n=33). For antecedent events, Upper respiratory infection was 9.3%, diarrhea 21.3%, surgery 4% and other factors 18.7%, no factors associated were 46.7%. Least cases were in winter (16%) and most cases (32%) occurred in autumn. Chief complaints were weakness 98.7%, numbness 49.3%, cranial nerve involvement 40%, pain 37.3%, bladder dysfunction 25.3%, dyspnea 17.3% and ataxia 5.3%. MRC scale severity was mild 17.3%, moderate 62.7% and severe 20% of all participants. An average age of GBS beginning was 44±15 for mild and moderate level groups and 51±14 for severe level groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: The disease severity has been associated with older age, but not associated with sex, antecedent factors and seasonal exposure.
