The content of minerals and vitamins in the human body is one of the most important indicators of the disease in the population. It is shown in many recent studies by scientists, worldwide. Even though, many studies on microelements have been conducted in many countries around the world and recommendations have been made on usage of minerals in prophylactic and therapeutic doses, no studies have not been conducted in Mongolia to determine the average amount of microelements in healthy Mongolian children is the basis for our study. Hair sample of 257male and 281 female, total of 538 children aged 8-17 from a secondary school in Ulaanbaatar was taken. Samples were tested by atom absorbing mass spectrophotometry and microelements including, Fe, Zn, Cu, Si, Mn, Al, Pb and Bo will be studied in more detail. Results showed micro elements of average concentration : Al 43.89±113.88 mcg/kg, Fe 337.59±294.60 mcg/kg, Cu 17.45±10.87 mcg/kg, Zn 249.00±159.52 mcg/kg, Mn 6.51±5.24 mcg/kg, Bo 16.96±26.97 mcg/kg, Pb 18.49±24.87 mcg/ kg, Si 455.10±159.52 mcg/kg. Conclusion: The average content of elements in the hair of children in Ulaanbaatar is higher than the average content of children in the other countries.
