Even though children’s nutritional status is taken attention by Mongolians and they are fulfilling many projects, today’s children’s nutritional status is one of the concerned problems. Children’s lack of vitamins and minerals and their growth deficiency are still social health problems. We have encompassed 0-23 month’s old children who live in 2 committee of Bayanzurkh district on our survey. After we had compared their nutritional status to their mothers’ education and living standards, we realized that 21-24 months old children have more growth deficiency and the children of mothers with secondary education have 2.02 times higher risk of growth retardation than the children of mothers with bachelor’s degree or higher. Compared to the results of the 2018 Social Indicators Survey, it is a good result that the percentage of children with growth retardation has diminished. Nevertheless, there is still high risk of growth deficiency for boys by sex.
