Diabetic foot syndrome, or neuropathy, is characterized by decreased skin sensitivity of the feet, mild pain, and fever at night at rest, and in individuals, these symptoms go unnoticed, leading to late diagnosis and risk of amputation. According to the study, 6-12 percent of patients with type 2 diabetes develop foot ulcers, and the risk of amputation of the lower extremities is 15 times higher, and 20-25 percent of all patients have some risk of diabetic foot complications. Therefore, the study was based on statistical data, medical history, and clinical data of inpatients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the State First and Second Central Hospitals.
