Quality of life index (MLHFQ) for heart failure patients diagnosed with chronic heart failure Plasma B-type Natriuretic Peptide (NT-pro BNP) and Six-minute walk test (6MWT)
Keywords:
Heart failure, NT-pro BNP, natri-uretic peptideAbstract
When heart failure occurs, the heart muscle secretes natri-uretic peptide. According to guideline, the diagnosis, prognosis and its prevention can be completed by determining the level of natri-uretic peptide.A total of 60 patients, who were admitted to cardiology department of Second General hospital, with reduced ejection fraction. The first day of in-ward treatment all patients performed NT-pro BNP and 6 minute walking tests. In our study the average age was 68, 32 men had occured 53.3% were greater than women 46.7% (23). Among all the patients 81.6% with number of 46 were high in NT-pro BNP, the remaining percent showed normal in results. In a 6 minute of walking test it had 60% of YA IV, III stage patients, 38.3% were IIst and only 11% occupied Ist. Due to MLHF scoring 50.8% of all individual were in pure quality of daily basis exercise living condition. A standard descriptive analysis was applied in the analysis. For statistic value we have used SPSS programming, followed by P meaning <0.005. The use of Natri-uretic peptide, in chronic heart failure patients, should become a standard in routine clinical practice. It might contribute to a better identification of treatment and patient’s disease prognosis.
