Genomics and pharmacogenomics
Keywords:
genomics, pharmacogenomics, molecular pathology, individual medicineAbstract
It is crucial to define a molecular basis of disease, which is offering an enormous development to the modern medical diagnostics and treatment. Studying genomics for understanding the molecular basis of mono and polygenic disorders, gives us chance to differentiate and to complete the diagnosis. Therefore, the human genome retains a specificity of disease vulnerability and quantitative traits, the pharmacogenomics receiving beneficial yield for disease prevention, proceeding individual medicine, selection of drugs, and its adequate dosing. Soon, everyone will live longer and healthier with genomics diagnostics. And it is becoming more feasible due to increasing reagents, gaining more devices, decreasing the price of genomic tools, and boosting high performances.
