Background: In recent years, the use of medicinal and botanical products in traditional medicine has increased. There is an increasing tendency to standardize drugs widely used in traditional medicine and to adapt them into modern drug forms that are easy to use. Therefore, Mana-4 tang was selected and transformed into granules for ease of use. The evaluation and standardization of the quality of the obtained granules formed the basis of this study. Aim: To determine the quality parameters of Mana-4 granules and develop a manufacturers’ pharmacopoeial article based on these parameters. Materials and Methods: The research work was carried out with the support of the Chemistry Sector and the Technology Sector of the Drug Research Institute. The appearance, average weight, particle size, total polyphenolic compounds, alkaloids, and polysaccharides of Mana-4 granules were analyzed. Results: Mana-4 granules appear as a yellowish, homogeneous fine powder, with an average weight 2.01g±1.06%, particle size was 1.28±0.12%, dispersibility at 3 minutes, total polyphenolic compounds at 0.69±0.016%, total alkaloids at 0.27±0.006%, and total polysaccharide contained 12.11±0.078%. Conclusions: 1. The granules are completely dissolved in water and evenly distributed, without any foreign impurities, the average weight is 2.01±0.022g, the amount of moisture is 1.05±0.02% which meets the general requirements for granules. 2. The quantity of the main active compound contained in Mana-4 granules was determined by spectrophotometric method, and it was confirmed that it will be possible to develop the manufacturer’s pharmacopoeia article based on the these parameters.
