Background: Hair whitening process is tightly related to ageing and reduction that number of melanocyte cells, source cells and regulatory ferments in hair bulb. Nettle growing in Mongolia is a plant with many vitamins such as B, E, K, C, macro and micro elements, essential and non-essential amino acids, some organic compounds and it commonly grow in Mongolia. Therefore, preparation extracted from nettle is biologically–active substance that activate melanin in hair bulbs and using for hairs of early whitening is economically and cosmetically useful. Aim: Use the preparation with nettle extract (as shampoo, conditioner, protein and serum) for healthy people of 35 to 55 years of age and study the results of the preparation. Materials and Methods: the research involved healthy people as residents of Ulaanbaatar city of 35 to 55 years of age using moment method and random sampling method. The research participants were divided in control group (42 people) and placebo group (36 people), number of female and male participations were equal. 42 people of the test group underwent 8 treatments of nettle extract two times weekly at nettle salon and the participants of the control group were advised to use pack of products at home upon the instruction. To determine the real results of the participants of test and control groups, the results before and in the 14th and 30th day after the tests and hair structure before and after the test were studied using trichoscopy, phototrichogram, dermatoscopy diagnosis methods and “TrichoSciencePro Special Edition” 1.3SE software. Statistical processing was made by one-way ANOVA test and SPSS-21 software. Results: in the 30th day after use of the nettle extract, average specification of hairs per 1cm2 was p<0.006 in control and test group. Average specification of terminal hairs was p<0.234 in in control and test group, average specification of vellus hair was reduced to p<0.098. Average growth of white hair was not statistically significant (p<0.15). It may conclude that nettle extract is improving hair growth of black hairs. Average number of bulbs with one hair was reduced in control group and test group (p<0.033), average number of bulbs with three or more hair was increased and was statistically significant in control group and placebo group (p<0.001), these were increased in all parts of head and it is proving that growth of new hairs and hair is getting thick. In determining some toxic elements in hair, element Pb was statistically significantly reduced (p<0.0001). Conclusions: 1. Among the subjects with gray hair, graying was greatest on the top of the head and on the forehead. 89.3% of the total number of hairs counted per 1 cm2 area of the head is terminal hair, 6.5% is vellus hair, the most number of follicles is 1 hair, and the hair diameter is 13.75% smaller than the average of Asian people. 2. After using nettle products, the number of total hairs, terminal hairs, and hairs per follicle increased, increasing the growth of melanin-rich, healthy young hair. The pH of the scalp and the diameter of the hair have increased and reached a stable healthy average, which means that hair products with nettle ingredients are a natural product with a healthy and detoxifying effect on the scalp. As the age increases, the growth intensity and diameter of new young, melanin-containing hair, regardless of gender, increases and thickens.
