Background: According to the World Health Organization, 3 million people die in 1 year and 6 people per minute in the world due to excessive consumption of alcohol, and 3 out of 4 of these people are male. In addition to countries implementing multifaceted measures and policies aimed at reducing the negative effects of alcohol consumption on human health, safety, and socioeconomics, the treatment of alcohol-related diseases remains a healthcare problem. Aim: To investigate the effects of the experimental Goyo-4 on ethanol-induced liver inflammation. Materials and Methods: The research work was carried out using the experimental method based on the Mongolian International School of Medicine of MNUMS, the Institute of Traditional Medicine and Technology, and the Medical University of Hohhot, China. In the study, a 1:10 decoction of Goyo-4 medicine produced at the Mongolian Drug and Hospital Drug Formulation Center of Alsh Province of the Chinese Ministry of Health and Welfare was used. C-57\BL male mice weighing 20±2 g were calculated to be 7 in one group and divided into 6 groups. The control group received physiological solution at a dose of 10 ml/kg, experimental group I received 2.4 g/kg of Goyo-4 decoction, and experimental group II received 1.2 g/kg, test group III at a dose of 0.6 g/kg, comparison group was taken Lian and shuangzii at a dose of 2.9 mg/kg once a day for 10 days. IBM SPSS 26 software was used for statistical processing of research results. Results: The hepatoprotective action of the experimental Goyo-4 was evaluated by ALT and AST and detoxification by the amount of total bilirubin in blood plasma. Compared to the control group, the ALT level of treatment groups was 35.9% (P<0.01), Goyo 4 group I was 45.07% (P<0.01), Goyo 4 group II was 27.89% (P<0.05), Goyo 4-8.9% decrease was found in group III. The amount of AST was 29.14% (P<0.01) in the comparison group, 37.23% (P<0.01) in Goyo 4 group I, 24.74% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group II, and 6.88% in Goyo 4 group III. The total bilirubin level was 31.7% (P<0.05) in the comparison group, 43.75% (P<0.01) in Goyo 4 group I, 31.92% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group II, and 22.11% in Goyo 4 group III. Considering this, it can be seen that the treatment results improve as the dose of Goyo 4 increases. In experimental C-57\BL mice, an acute alcohol intoxication model was used to induce apoptosis-inhibiting Bax-antagonist Bcl-2, apoptosis-activating Bax, caspase-3, which causes cell disintegration by increasing mitochondrial stress, and cleaved caspase-3, which is responsible for cell structural changes and DNA fragmentation and the ratio of cell necrosis and regeneration was calculated using the Bax/Bcl-2 formula. When comparing the treatment groups with the control group, Bcl-2 levels were 22.61% (P<0.05) in the control group, 96.42% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group I, 33.33% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group II, and the III group of 17.85% each increased. The amount of Bax was 32.36% (P<0.05) in the comparison group, 58.83% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group I, 44.12% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group II, and 36.77% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group III. Caspase-3 levels were 32.36% (P<0.05) in the control group and the comparison group, 58.83% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group I, and 58.83% (P<0.05) in Goyo 4 group II, 44.12% (P<0.05) and 36.77% (P<0.05) in group III of Goyo 4. Cleaved caspase 3 level was decreased by 24.14% (P<0.05) in group I of Goyo 4 and 64.17% in group I of Goyo 4. (P<0.05), decreased by 50.63% (P<0.05) in group II of Goyo 4, and 51.73% (P<0.05) in group III of Goyo 4. Considering this, the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio was found to be 0.1747 in Goyo-4 drug group I, which proves that cell regeneration was the fastest in this group. Conclusions: 1. A 1:10 decoction of Goyo-4 reduces the amount of ALT and AST, and the apoptosis of liver cells, and promotes regeneration. 2. A 1:10 decoction of Goyo-4 reduces the amount of Bax, which activates apoptosis, and caspase-3, which causes cell disintegration by increasing mitochondrial stress, cleaved caspase-3, which is responsible for DNA fragmentation, and also Goyo-4 is affecting cell apoptosis by promoting Bcl-2, the antagonist of apoptosis.
