Background: Urinary system diseases are the fourth leading cause of diseases among the population in Mongolia in 2021. For example, per 10,000 population, urinary and genital diseases are 670 in cities and 693 in the provinces. The structure of diseases of the urinary and reproductive system, in 2021, 44 percent of renal tubular diseases, 2.6 percent of renal cysts, 2.9 percent of kidney failure, and 2.1 percent of nephrolithiasis. Kidney related deaths rank 13th in the world, and the number of deaths increased from 813,000 in 2000 to 1.3 million in 2019. The quality standardization of medicinal plant raw material is crucial for the proper selection of medicinal plant raw materials for the production of highly active, domestic herbal medicine “Phytonephro-SAN” preparation. Aim: Determine some requirements of the quality of plant raw materials in the composition of “Phytonephro-SAN” preparation Materials and Methods: The quality standardization of raw materials of Dasiphora frutocosa L. determined according to MNS 5997:2009 “Flowers and leaves of Dasiphora fruticosa L.”, the quality standardization of raw materials of Artichoke determined according to MNS 6502:2015 “Cultivated Artichoke”, the quality standardization of raw materials of Rosa acicularis L. determined according to MNS 0527:2014 “Harvesting, drying and transportation of Rosa acicularis L.” and Mongolian National Pharmacopeia 2011 methodology. Results: The moisture of the raw material of the Dasiphora fruticosa L. was 7.30±0.47%, the content of lead was 1.54±0.27%, cadmium was 0.18±0.47%, organic impurities, mineral impurities are not detected, yellow spot detected by the identification reaction, total flavonoid was 18.30±0.42%, microbial test (Total number of aerobic bacteria, Number of molds, Enterobacter, Salmonella) are qualified. The moisture of artichoke raw material was 5.34±0.08%, lead was 1.91±0.13%, cadmium was 0.004±0.0008%, mineral impurities were not detected, brown spot detected by identification reaction, cynarin 0.31±0.03%, microbial test (Total number of aerobic bacteria, Number of molds, Enterobacter, Salmonella) are qualified. The moisture of the raw material of Rosa acicularis L. was 9.63±0.35%, organic impurities are not detected, mineral impurities was 0.18%, Vitamin C was 0.0224±0.0003%, and the microbial test (Total number of aerobic bacteria, Number of molds, Enterobacter, Salmonella) met the requirements. Conclusion: The plant raw materials in the composition of “Phytonephro-SAN” preparation meet the quality requirements.
