Introduction: The lips are divided into three main sections: cutaneous, vermilion, and mucosal. The lips play a role during eating, smiling, speech and have a vital role in aesthetics and academic function. Age-related changes in lip morphological and physiological characteristics are key indices for estimating age based on facial features, as reported in many studies. Comparing lip parameters post-surgery with the normal data, gives the best objective assessment of the success of such a procedure. Anthropometric studies on the lip parameters have been carried out to determine data for Caucasian population. Some others have been carried out on the Asian populace. Goal: Morphological changes in the lip were investigated by metric, angular measurement on CBCT. Material and methods: This study is retrospectively performed normal cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans of dental in Mongolian women. Metric and angular measurements of lip were determined on the CBCT of 16-48 aged 37 patients by using On Demand 3D Dental (OrthopantomographOP300 ®) Viewer software. Results: A total of 37 women were included in our study, with a mean age of 28.4±8.32. Identified the main points of lip anthropometry. The distance between the 22 measurements was normal distribution and abnormal distribution. The upper lips cupid bow length CBP-CBP was 12.65 to 7.03 mean 9.89±1.45, the length of the lips mean 47.08±3.56, CH-CH between 55.29-40.06 mm. The distance between the bow points of lower lip mean 13.84±1.97, LLBP between 19.71 to 10.98 mm. The angle of the upper lip is 138.2±11.64 and the angle of the lower lip is 138.8±8.94 P value > 0.05 Conclusion: The morphometric parameters of adult Mongolian women have a normal distribution and are close to the morphometric parameters of female lips in other Asian countries.
