Urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the most common infections in inpatient and outpatient clients. The disadvantages of the traditional urine breeder analysis, currently in use, are quite complex, costly and time consuming; besides, it takes at least 48-72 hours to report the results. In recent years, fully automated urine analyzers have been introduced to facilitate urine testing and improve diagnostic performance, one of which is the UF-1000i fully automatic urine analyzer. Therefore, the study was based on the evaluation of the diagnostic performance of the urine bacteriology test, which is the “gold standard” for the detection of UTI, using the fully automatic analyzer Sysmex UF-1000i. The purpose is to analyze the urine samples of patients with UTIs on a fully automated urine sediment analyzer Sysmex UF-1000i, to compare with urine bacteriology test results, and to search possibilities in determining the optimal and early choice of antibiotic therapy by using results of the Sysmex UF-1000i analyzer measurement. In this study to determine the age coverage of clients with UTI and Detection of predominate pathogens in UTI furthermore sysmex UF-1000i BACT info results compared of the scattergram with the results of the urine breeder test and determine the correlation. In the first half of 2020, we sampled 9,717 patients, who undertook detailed urinalysis and 1,566 patients who undertook, detailed urinalysis at the General laboratory department (GLD) of the outpatient department of the Second General Hospital. A total of 186 customers were sampled. The BACT info scattergram results of the UF-1000i analyzer and the urine bacteriology test results of these clients were compared. The results of the BACT info scattergram of the UF1000i analyzer were consistent with the results of the urine bacteriology test with a statistical accuracy of 91.4%. The UF1000i analyzer had a statistical accuracy of 94.4% for gram-negative bacteria recognition and a statistical accuracy of 82.9% for gram-negative bacillus scattergram. The low prevalence of bacteria on the BACT info scattergram of the UF1000i analyzer was consistent with 82.2% of the results of bacteriological analysis of urine with no bacterial growth. However, the detection of gram-positive cocci on the BACT info scattergram of the UF1000i analyzer was 57% consistent with the detection of gram-positive cocci in the urine breeder analysis, and, the sensitivity of the UF1000i analyzer to detect gram-positive bacteria was 40%.
